Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to travel services arranged by Alif Voyages, including private tours, travel packages, airport transfers, private transportation, guide services, hotel booking assistance, railway ticket assistance, excursions, and related travel support in Uzbekistan.

By confirming a booking or making a payment, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this Cancellation & Refund Policy.

1. Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be sent in writing by email, WhatsApp, or another agreed communication channel.

The cancellation date is the date when Alif Voyages receives the written cancellation request.

Cancellation requests made by phone or verbally may not be valid unless confirmed in writing.

2. Cancellation Fees for Private Tours

Unless different cancellation terms are agreed for a specific booking, the following cancellation fees may apply:

3. Non-Refundable Supplier Costs

Some services may become non-refundable after confirmation, reservation, or issuance.

These may include, but are not limited to:

  • train tickets;
  • domestic flight tickets;
  • hotel bookings;
  • entrance tickets;
  • special permits;
  • transport reservations;
  • guide reservations;
  • restaurant reservations;
  • special arrangements requested by the client;
  • bank or payment processing fees.

If such costs have already been paid or committed to suppliers, they may be deducted from any refund.

4. No Refund for Unused Services

No refund is provided for unused services after the tour has started, including missed transfers, missed excursions, unused hotel nights, unused train tickets, late arrival, early departure, illness, personal schedule changes, or refusal to participate in part of the itinerary.

5. No-Show

If the client does not arrive for the booked service and does not inform Alif Voyages in advance, this may be treated as a no-show.

No refund is provided for no-shows.

6. Changes Instead of Cancellation

Where possible, Alif Voyages may help the client change travel dates, route, hotel category, transport, guide services, or other arrangements instead of cancelling the booking.

Changes depend on supplier availability and may involve additional charges, cancellation fees, or price differences.

7. Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds are normally returned using the same payment method where possible.

Refund timing may depend on the payment provider, bank processing time, card network, correspondent banks, and supplier refund timing.

Alif Voyages will make reasonable efforts to process approved refunds as soon as possible after receiving the necessary supplier confirmations and payment details.

8. Bank Fees and Processing Fees

Bank charges, card processing fees, currency conversion fees, payment gateway fees, and correspondent bank fees may be non-refundable.

If a refund is made, such fees may be deducted from the refundable amount where applicable.

9. Force Majeure

If a tour cannot be provided due to circumstances outside the reasonable control of Alif Voyages, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, government restrictions, border closures, war, civil unrest, strikes, transport disruptions, accidents, or other force majeure events, Alif Voyages will try to offer a suitable alternative, postponement, credit, or partial refund depending on supplier conditions and actual costs incurred.
